Bellagio Fountains 

One of Vegas’ most recognisable landmarks, the fountains located in front of the Bellagio Hotel Resort (right next to The Strip) are a joy to behold. Dancing spouts of water as far as the eye can see, paired with lights and music (the Hallelujah chorus is a favourite) make for a dramatic sight, and if you happen to be a guest at the Bellagio you can rent a room facing the show, viewing it to your heart’s content!

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

Located nearby to the city, this protected conservation area sees over one million visitors every year flock to see the wonderful bright red rock formations and sandstone peaks that dot the area. Great for visitors that want to indulge in a little hiking and climbing, the centrepiece is La Madre Mountain, a gigantic 2,485m peak set amongst the desert.

Wynn Las Vegas & Encore

Having won the Forbes Travel Guide Five Star award more times than any casino in the world, the Wynn is the place to go if you want to gamble in Vegas. Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, Bellagio

Another offering from one of Vegas’ biggest casinos, the resort’s conservatory and botanical gardens are a surprising break away from the bustle and smoke of the rest of Sin City. With live music, seasonal displays and all manner of floral delights, this is not to be missed!

The Mob Museum 

Watch any smoky black and white Vegas flick from the fifties and you’ll likely encounter all manner of stories about the city’s seedy past, and The Mob Museum does it’s best to inform about the golden age of gangsters across the US during the 20s and 30s.
